Prepare your chicken
To begin preparing your chicken, remove its giblets if you haven't already. Then simply season it with salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. You can also add aromatic herbs, spices or other to give it a little more flavor. To ensure your chicken is well coated with your seasoning, don't hesitate to use a kitchen brush.
To further enhance the taste of your chicken, you can also insert your seasoning directly under the skin or even stuff it with onions, garlic or citrus fruits.
Cook your chicken
While you are preparing your chicken, preheat your oven to 180 ° C, place your grill in the center and lightly oil the bottom of your dish. Then place your chicken in your dish and bake for around 1h40.
So that your chicken does not dry out during cooking, sprinkle it very regularly with its juice, this will also brown it well.
After 1 hour 25 minutes of cooking, check the temperature of your chicken with a thermometer in the thickest part of the thigh. The desired temperature should be around 82 ° C.
Once your chicken is finished cooking, let it cool for a few minutes before cutting it up.
If after your meal, you still have pieces of chicken, you can keep them in the fridge for 4 days and in the freezer for 3 months. You can eat these pieces hot or cold, in salads for example.
