Recipe: Oat flakes and chocolate chip muffins

Oat flakes for health and energy, milk chocolate for pleasure. When they come out of the oven, these muffins have 3 textures: a soft heart, melting chocolate chips and oatmeal which bring small crunchy touches. Treat yourself !

  • 120 g of flour
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 50 g of melted butter
  • 50 g of milk chocolate
  • 40 g of oats flakes
  • 40 g of caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of natural vanilla flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. In a bowl, pour the flour, baking powder and salt. Brown the oats in a frying pan and add them to the bowl. Mix.

Step 2

Warm the milk. In another bowl, whisk the egg with the sugar until the mixture whitens, then add the melted butter. Pour this mixture into the flour and stir slightly while gradually adding the warm milk.

Step 3

Chop the chocolate and incorporate it into the dough. Pour the batter into 6 muffin cups. Bake for 20 minutes.
